Description
A nice example of a second model 1859 Tower stamped Brunswick rifle. forty five and a half inches overall with a thirty inch .704 bore barrel. Flip up rear sights and bayonet bar. Regulation brass mounts and patch box. The lock stamped with the Crown and VR, TOWER and 1859. The lock is in full working order. The two groove rifling is worn and the internal bore has some pitting. Over all a very nice collectors piece of the first type of percussion rifle issued in the British army.
