A large bore percussion double barrel howdah pistol by Collins of London, circa 1840. Full walnut stock with steel mounts and stirrup ramrod, 13 inches overall. The 7 inch, sighted Damascus barrels with central rib of 14 bore or .7 manstopper calibre. Good strong working actions. Shows some ware but overall in good condition.
