Description
A good 19th century Irish midshipman’s dirk made by Read & Co, 4 Parliament street, Dublin, circa 1800. Nine and a half inches overall with a double edge blade. Small brass guard and turned bone grip ( age crack to the grip ). The brass scabbard is signed with the makers name and address.
