Description
A very rare 1744 Farmer flintlock heavy dragoon pistol. One of the most copied pistols this original of slender build is in very good condition and working order. Nineteen inches overall with a twelve inch .59 bore barrel, with very worn proofs. The lock stamped with the Crown and GR with the arrow and Crown acceptance stamp, the tail of the lock with 1744 Farmer. Regulation brass mounts and ramrod. The full walnut stock still showing much of its decorative carving, with a worn acceptance stamp just above the tail of the lock. Shows general ware overall. A very rare piece for the investor and collector.
