Description
A rare US flintlock Springfield pistol, made by the Springfield armory. The pistol dated 1815, is the armories 1807/1817 model. Full hardwood stock with steel mounts, 17.25 inches overall with a 11 inch, .69 calibre barrel. Worn mark next to the butt cap, No other markings visible on the stock. The lock plate dated 1815 on the tail and the eagle over US in the center. The internal lock plate shows various martial markings to both plate and mechanism. The action is in good working order.
