Description
A fine, percussion, double barrel Howdah pistol by Nicholson, 53 Cornhill, London. Circa 1850. Walnut three quarter stock with fine chequered grip and engraved silver escutcheon. Eleven inches overall with six inch, .54 bore Damascus barrels. The finely engraved steel mounts and butt cap still retaining a good amount of original blueing. The percussion locks are in good working order and still retain there original case hardening. Has been carried and shows some minor scuffs and knocks, but shows very little sign of being fired.
