Description
A rare, cased percussion double barrel pocket pistol by Collins of London, circa 1840. This lovely small pistol in its fitted Mahogany case. The pistol of 6 inches with 2.25 inch Damascus twist barrel, .4 calibre. Full walnut stock with chequered grip and steel mounts, engraved actions signed Collins. The actions are in working order, left hand has a slightly softer main spring. The fitted case contains, powder flask, ball mould, cap tin, balls and two strings of cotton patches.
