Description
A very nice flintlock bayonet pistol by Barton circa 1810. Walnut full stock with crisp heavy chequered grip and nicely engraved brass mounts. Ten inches overall with a five and a half inch, .6 bore browned octagonal barrel. Along the barrel top is housed a 3.5 inch bayonet ( 5 inches including mounts ) with slide release. The lock with slide safety and roller frizzen is very crisp with a good main spring and signed Barton. A very good collectors or investors piece.
