Description
A sleepy pair of cased double barrel percussion traveling pistols by Dougall of Glasgow, circa 1850. The 40 bore pistols of 9 inches with 4 inch octagonal barrels. Signed J D Dougall, Glasgow on the top flat. Both with finely chequered grips and cap container butt caps. Both pistols still retaining 70% of their colour case hardening. Good strong working actions. Minor discolouration to the barrels, both in very good condition overall. Both pistol are in their original case, with accessories, which is untouched and shows ware from use.
