Description
A rare British officers bandsman sword, circa 1800. This short sword of 33 inches with a curved narrow central fullered blade of 28 inches. Cross hilt brass guard with lion head pommel and hatched bone grip in its original scabbard ( the scabbard is very worn ). A good period piece from the Napoleonic wars.
