Description
A nice example of a rare beak hilt, 1796 pattern British heavy cavalry officers sword. forty inches overall with a 35 inch hatchet tip blade. The blade still showing some of its original etching ( though faint ) but is in very good condition with only two small areas of corrosion. The hilt shows ware and areas of corrosion but still shows its original decoration, good leather bound grip.
