Description
A very fine cased over and under percussion belt pistol by Beckwith of London, circa 1850. The pistol, probably one of the largest made by Beckwith, at 13 inches overall with 7.5 inch, 40 bore barrels and belt hook. Excellent one piece chequered walnut grip with percussion cap container in the butt cap. The top flat of the barrel signed Henry Beckwith, 58 Skinner street, Snow Hill, London. Nice sleepy condition, with good strong working actions. Very good mahogany case with original lining and associated accoutrement’s.
