Description
An interesting and scarce, 19th century Chinese assassins dart gun. Loaded from the muzzle by pushing down a long dart on the strong spring, then secure with the trigger slide. The simple trigger mechanism with dragon head safety slide. It would have been used to great affect in a crowd as it is a simple close range weapon with the dart tip possibly poisoned. It is intact and in working order, sorry there isn’t a dart. Overall length of 7.5 inches with brass body and mounts. Shows ware as would be expected.
