Description
An excellent and very rare flintlock horse pistol attributed to Staci of London, circa 1660. Staci operated in London between 1625-1690 and this pistol though unsigned is identical to those he produced during this period. twenty one and a half inches overall with a .55 bore three stage steel barrel. The full figured walnut stock is in very good condition with steel mounts, long eared butt cap and original iron ramrod. The lock is in excellent condition and working order with a strong main spring. These type of pistols were favoured by Dragoons during this period.
