Description
A brace of 1775 flintlock Royal Foresters pistols or Duke of Kingston’s regiment of light horse. The regiment was first supplied with Tower arms from 1775. This brace of historically important pistols, 16 inches overall with ten inch, 20 bore barrels. Full walnut stocks with new type regulation brass mounts. The locks stamped with Tower and GR under Crown. Both pistols show ware, losses and damages and minor restoration as would be expected from used service pistols of this age.
