Description

A fine robustly made flintlock livery pistol by Memory of Southwark, circa 1780. fifteen inches overall with a nine inch two stage swamped steel barrel. The barrel showing London proof and makers stamps with Southwark down the top. Figured walnut full stock with brass mounts and grotesque faced butt cap. The lock is in good working order, with double edge border and light engraving, signed Memory. Some mild pepper pitting to the barrel in places, but nothing major. Very good condition overall, best butt cap I’ve see in a long time.
