A nice example of a second pattern, 1860, Tranter double trigger  percussion revolver. This revolver was retailed by B Cogswell 224 Strand London, engraved on the top strap. Eleven and a half inches overall with a six inch barrel. The frame engraved with the retailers name, No 5614R and foliate decoration. The action is in good working order with five shot .54 bore cylinder. Fine chequered walnut grip in good condition. Over all the revolver is in very good working order, with no pitting except a very small patch on the loading lever. It has been well used and well kept. Nice collectors piece.
