Description
A fine percussion traveling pistol by arguably the top gunmaker of the period, Manton. This traveling pistol, circa 1850 . fourteen inches overall with an octagonal nine inch barrel with a massive .69 manstopper bore. The barrel heavily decorated. Walnut half stock with chequered grip and German silver butt cap containing a concealed percussion cap container. The well engraved percussion back action lock signed Manton. The pistol is in good overall used condition and in working order.
