A very fine percussion belt pistol made by Samuel Nock of London, circa 1850. The pistol of eight and a half inches with a three and a quarter inch octagonal, sighted Damascus barrel. .5 bore. The barrel and action still retaining crisp engraved decoration with the makers name S NOCK LONDON in gold on the barrel top. The action still retaining over 50% of its original blueing. A very finely chequered grip with cap holder in butt cap and silver escutcheon. The rosewood case in original untouched condition containing original cleaning rod, percussion cap tin ( with caps ), striker pot, pincer ball mould and powder flask ( the flask is in excellent condition ). A very nice collectors or investors piece.
