A good cased percussion Adams revolver, retailed by Richards, circa 1840. The revolver, used but in very good condition and working order still retaining some blue. Excellent grip. 11.5 inches overall with a 6 inch rifled, sighted barrel. The top strap of the revolver is signed Richards, 51 Old Hall St, Liverpool. The revolver is in its original untouched case with all its various tools, mould and powder flask. These revolvers were used in various conflicts around the world, including Crimea and the American civil war.
