A good early British Tower light dragoon pistol, circa 1790. The pistol is of regulation form with full walnut stock and brass mounts, 15 inches over all. Tapering nine inch .65 bore steel barrel with London proofs. The early round faced lock is in working order and stamped Tower to the tail with the Crown and GR as well as the arrow and crown acceptance stamp. The body of the pistol is stamped with regimental marks next the side plate. Good condition.
