A very rare British cavalry pistol by Egg, circa 1790. This is a massive pistol for a cavalry pistol of the time at 18 inches overall with a 12 inch sighted barrel. Flip up rear sight. Combined with the clip in walnut shoulder stock this would give the cavalry trooper time to take accurate aim. The combined length of 28 inches providing a handy carbine sized weapon. The pistol with full walnut stock and regulation brass mounts. Some ware and minor losses. The shoulder stock of walnut with steel mechanism and carrying ring.
