19th century percussion overcoat pistol by Grierson of Bond street, London.



A good percussion overcoat or traveling pistol by Grierson of London, circa 1850. Nine and a half inches overall with a five inch octagonal, .64 bore, sighted barrel. The top of the barrel signed Grierson, Bond Street, London and still retains some case hardening. Walnut full stock with chequered grip and steel mounts. Swivel ramrod and percussion cap container in the butt cap .Over all in very good condition, minor knocks to the stock with use.
