A very nice flintlock sash or town pistol by Wogdon, circa 1780. This slim light weight pistol would have been carried by a gentleman going about town on his business. Eleven and a half inches overall with a seven inch, .6 bore swamped barrel, London proofs. Full walnut stock with steel mounts and bone tipped ramrod. The full working lock is in very good condition and signed Wogdon. This is a good little pistol, some ware to the mounts and small knocks to the stock as would be expected, but overall in very good condition.
