Description
An excellent 1863 new model Sharps breach loading carbine. The serial numbers indicate it was made in early 1864 and so would have been used in the American civil war. This fine gun of 39 inches with a 22 inch barrel. The barrel, mounts etc still retain their original blue finish and the walnut stock does show some rub ware from being carried in a saddle holster.
