A very good London Armoury 1861/62 percussion Kerr revolver, serial number 1951 in full working order. This very good conditioned Kerr still showing traces of original finish. Five shot, .54 bore cylinder, 11 inches overall with a 5.5 inch rifled barrel. The fine chequered grip is in very good condition and the revolver is in very good general order. The revolver was made during the early part of the American civil war however this is unmarked and has the finer civilian grip other than the heavy chequer of the military ones. It however could easily have been a private purchase for an officer in either America or the British army as these weapons were more adapt for military and not civilian use.
